Plot Synopsis

A former volcanologist goes to New Zealand with her family and becomes immediately drawn to a live volcano. The thrill-seeking family takes off for a closer look at the molten mountain despite words of warning from the Maori natives. She soon determines the mountain is becoming more active and insists that the mountain be evacuated, but is ignored by the local geological center. When her daughter and a tour guide become trapped inside a rock cave it is up to her and her husband to help save them.
