Plot Synopsis
In 1992 California, Securities broker Larry McLinden sues his former girlfriend for custody of the son they had while living together. His problems are compounded when it is discovered that he is not the boy's biological father, and has no legal grounds to stand on. With the help of an expert attorney the case sets legal precedent when the judge awards him primary custody based on the fact that he has been the child's ''psychological father'' for five years.
