Plot Synopsis

Based on the book ''Fire and Fear: The Inside Story of Mike Tyson'' by Jose Torres. The troubled and turbulent life of the heavyweight fighter. From street gang member to his tutelage under trainer Cus D'Amato, Tyson goes from humble beginnings to the high society life of a celebrated champ. After his mentor dies he finds himself at odds with his promoters and falls into a doomed marriage with actress Robin Givens. With manager Don King he slowly regains his stature but a rape conviction and jail sentence ultimately ends his meteoric career.
