Plot Synopsis
During WWll Varian Fry, the son of a wealthy NY family and a journalist in Berlin, is sickened by the atrocities he witnesses against the Jewish community, He becomes driven to fight against Nazi brutality. He travels to Marseilles and sets up an elaborate underground rescue network that managed to save some of the most influential cultural figures of our age as well as 2,000 others.
