Plot Synopsis
In 1985,an ambitious young music-industry lobbyist finds himself up against Tippper Gore and her newly formed group, Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) who are demanding that offensive content be eliminated from rock albums that they deem are destroying America's youth. Faced with the prospect of appearing before a powerful Senate Committee he enlist the aid of a disparate group of musicians- from Frank Zappa to John Denver who get caught up in the battle on Capitol Hill and the fight for free speech.
