Plot Synopsis

A well-liked woman who coordinates the senatorial campaign for a long-time friend becomes the prime suspect when he is found brutally murdered. She hires a prominent defense attorney who believes in the absolute innocence of her client. But as testimony is heard and evidence unveiled she grows increasingly suspicious. After her client is acquitted, the lawyer, feeling unsettled about the verdict, untangles a twisted crime of passion, rage and ruthless revenge.
