Plot Synopsis

A young woman abandons her family and returns eight years later in order to regain custody of her children, who have been raised by her ex-husband's wife after his untimely death. An out-of court tug of war for the childrens' affections, especially the 13 year old daughter, ensues with each "mother" realizing that they cannot manipulate the kids' feelings and that there is no reason to shut each other out.
