Plot Synopsis

When a young Mexican boy is kidnapped by Apache Indians in 1932, a struggling newspaper photographer, a rich playboy from Chicago and a beautiful anthropology student join a dangerous expedition to rescue him. The team enlists native Apache scouts Joseph and his grandson Albert to guide them to the kidnapped boy, but when Albert makes it clear he has a deep resentment against white people, it seems impossible the group will ever be able to work together. Finding a young Apache girl living in the Mexican wilderness, they take her back to her tribe to barter for the boy, putting their own lives in jeopardy. When the Apache tribe ambushes the group and takes them hostage, the troop must work together to escape, or face the terrifying price of being would-be heroes.
