Plot Synopsis
In 1999, a brazen television executive, under pressure from her greedy boss to increase revenues at the pay-per-view channel she works at, devises the event of the decade by televising a live execution. She selects a charismatic serial killer who, for a short time, convinces her that he just might be innocent. But the media frenzy and the public's demand for justice helps carry out the sensational execution.
