Plot Synopsis

A woman is found shell-shocked and alone in the middle of the California desert near the burned-out wreck of her car. The charred remains of her husband are inside. The town Sheriff introduces her to a local cowboy lawyer to help her get her affairs in order. When the coroner discovers a bullet in her husband's brain, she is arrested for murder. While her defense is prepared, she recounts the startling series of events that led up to the crash and the shooting.
