Plot Synopsis

Recently retired Army Colonel Tom Brennan is tapped by his longtime friend to take over the military division of their alma mater to help save the declining Stone Creek Academy. Although his daughter Kylie encourages him to loosen up, he immediately clashes with Caroline Foster, the newly hired academics dean and a civilian whose "touchy-feely" methods are at complete odds with his regimented approach. Despite their differences, the dueling duo ultimately joins forces to try to save the school. As Tom attempts to instill pride in the students he meets Mason, a slacker who becomes inspired to lead his fellow cadets in the effort to turn things around. During the course of Tom and Caroline's seemingly impossible task, romance blossoms and these two opposites learn they really do have everything in common after all.
