"Against the Elements" features cataclysmic events such as tornadoes, mudslides, sinking cruise liners and oil tank fires, but this documentary series allows experts to explain the chemistry, physics, meteorology and environmental science behind these powerful disasters. Each 60-minute episode highlights four different catastrophes -- one for each of the ancient elements (earth, water, air, fire).
