Plot Synopsis

AIRLINE WARS is a half-hour series that features viral videos of people caught on camera acting up and acting out in the not-so-friendly skies. AIRLINE WARS debuted on Sunday, September 22, 2024 with five consecutive episodes from 1-3:30pm ET/PT on A&E:

"Mid-Air Friction" (1pm): A cancelled flight to a dream vacation sends a mother over the edge. A pilot has no choice but to restrain an allegedly intoxicated man. A doctor gets bumped from his flight and sustains injuries from being physically removed by security. Reports of gunshots at JFK causes complete pandemonium.

"Flight or Fight" (1:30pm): A married couple's on-board argument escalates when the wife appears to get physical. A frustrated woman hurls a water bottle onboard her flight. Bystanders, police, and airport staff attempt to take down an aggressive man at a Singaporean airport. Fellow passengers rush to help when an expectant mother goes into labor mid-flight.

"Be Kind, Don't Recline" (2pm): A passenger reclines their seat back and ends up paying the price. Utter chaos erupts when a man goes on the attack while waiting in the security line. A pilot is arrested for attempting to operate an aircraft while under the influence. Police are called to remove a man who was reportedly in the wrong seat and refuses to budge.

"Trouble on the Tarmac" (2:30pm): A combative passenger responds with punches when asked to follow FAA regulations. A disorderly man is tasered multiple times but seems utterly unphased. Passengers and crew join forces to restrain a man who appears to rush the cockpit. When air marshals attempt to remove a man from the wing of a stationary aircraft, he plummets to the ground.

"Not So Friendly Skies" (3pm): An all-out brawl erupts between six people moments after touchdown. A reportedly unruly passenger spends the rest of his flight duct-taped to his chair. A twister wreaks havoc at Lambert St. Louis International. After allegedly attempting to push through a jet bridge door, a woman demands for the airport manager and is removed by security.
