Plot Synopsis

ALASKA STARTS HERE is a one-hour reality series that chronicles the tourist season in Seward, Alaska, a city whose official motto is "Alaska Starts Here." Situated at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula, this weathered, worn, time-hardened port city explodes to 10 times its population every summer, offering Alaskan adventures, like wrestling monster fish out of the treacherous waters of the Gulf of Alaska. On Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the one-hour pilot of ALASKA STARTS HERE, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.
