Plot Synopsis

ALONG FOR THE BRIDE is a reality series that follows brides and their bridesmaids on the run up to the big day -- from the time the bride-to-be starts planning the wedding and picking out dresses through the bawdy bachelorette party and the raucous reception. Each 30-minute episode follows one bride and the chaos that ensues as best friends from all different walks of life are thrown together and forced into tiny taffeta dresses. Featured brides included: Aki, whose childhood best friend and Maid of Honor may be behind bars, forcing her to reconsider her bridesmaid line-up; Michelle, who is getting married in Vegas after being a single mom for 24 years; and many more bodacious brides.
