Plot Synopsis

At Indiana's Vohne Liche Kennels (VLK), one of the largest police-dog training facilities in the country, some of the industry's best handlers have trained dogs to serve in police departments, the Secret Service and every branch of the military. During training, the dogs learn to detect drugs, weapons, improvised explosives (IEDs), cell phones, money and cadavers in a wide range of environments, including lakes, deserts, forests, airports and jails. In fact, these Alpha Dogs are so well trained, that they have jumped from helicopters to capture Osama Bin Laden and tracked Saddam Hussein. This half-hour reality series follows the staff at VLK, as they train dogs, work with customers, go on field missions and even host the 13th annual K-9 Olympics. The staff at VLK includes: owner/founder Kenny Licklider; trainer K.C. Licklider; Luther McDonald, TEDD (Tactical Explosive Detector Dog Program) Lead Instructor; Danny Parker, Head of Police Training; and Bobby Roettger, Head of Military Operations.
