Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Matt Iseman, AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR JUNIOR features children -- ages 9 to 14 -- racing against each other on the ultimate obstacle course to win the title of American Ninja Warrior Junior. Each season, three winners are crowned, each in a different age group: 9 & 10 year olds; 11 & 12 year olds; and 13 & 14 year olds.

The first season, which aired on Universal Kids, featured Laurie Hernandez as the sideline reporter. Season 1 winners were Collin Cella (Ages 9+10), Kai Beckstrand (Ages 11+12) and Vance Walker (Ages 13+14).

AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR JUNIOR returned for its second season on Saturday, February 22, 2020 on Universal Kids, with hosts Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Matt Iseman being joined by a new sideline reporter: Victoria Arlen. Season 2 winners were Nathanael Honvou (Ages 9+10), Jack David (Ages 11+12) and Vance Walker (Ages 13+14).

Moving from cable (Universal Kids) to a streaming service (Peacock) for its third season, the first two episodes of Season 3 dropped on Thursday, September 9, 2021 on Peacock, with Akbar and Matt returning as hosts and sideline reporter Victoria Arlen returning for her second season. This season, AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR JUNIOR takes the nation's top junior athletes and puts them on the world's most iconic course to compete on some of the most challenging obstacles yet. They put their mental and physical strength to the test as they go head-to-head in extra competitive, extra inspiring and extra fun races. These junior athletes bring their best ninja skills, indomitable spirits and fearless attitudes to the course but only three junior athletes will become the next American Ninja Warrior Junior champions. Season 3 features surprise guests, stunt runs, and all new courses featuring ambitious new obstacles designed by our challenge experts with the help of young fans.

On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Peacock released "Grand Finale," the Season 3 finale of AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR JUNIOR. The final four competitors from each age group compete in the finale.
