Plot Synopsis

AMERICAN REHAB: CHARLESTON is a half-hour reality series that follows licensed contractor Trent Fasnacht, as he fixes up a 107-year-old Victorian country home in South Carolina, located on Simmons Avenue in the Germantown neighborhood in Summerville. DIY Network aired the pilot episode of this program on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11pm ET/PT, but had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Trent started the renovation with the exterior by restoring the original porch with period-correct, tongue-and-groove flooring. Plus, he re-used the home's original wood shingles and century old brick to create a new arbor and front walkway. One year later, DIY Network debuted the official series premiere on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes -- the original pilot at 11pm and a brand-new episode at 11:30pm.
