Plot Synopsis

AMERICAN SWAMP is a four-part docuseries that follows journalists Katy Tur and Jacob Soboroff, as they travel across the United States to examine areas of political dysfunction and talk "to people across the political spectrum to find out why it's not working for them," according to Tur. In the series opener, "For the People Buy the People," the duo travel to Arizona and Montana to explore how local elections are affected by big money -- often from outside the district.
