Plot Synopsis

With the help of his 10 siblings, medical cannabis entrepreneur Josh Stanley runs Budding Health -- a medical marijuana business in Fort Collins, Colorado -- while facing mounting pressure from local residents and fighting against Proposition 300, which would ban all marijuana dispensaries in the city. Josh tries to save his business by aggressively using radio ads and fundraisers to counter the local pressure and to get out the vote against Proposition 300, which would outlaw the city's 20 dispensaries within 90 days of the November 1 mail-in election. Back at the dispensary, his brothers work at the grove to keep the business supplied with quality medical marijuana, while employees of Budding Health consider unionizing with United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7. As a backdrop, federal and state law enforcement, such as Sgt. Jim Gerhardt on the North Metro Task Force, continue to find illegal grows by residents claiming to be growing medical marijuana, which provides free press for those supporting Prop 300.
