Plot Synopsis

AMERICA'S BACKYARD GOLD is a one-hour docuseries that follows master miner Dave Turin, as he travels across the country to show everyday Americans how they can find $3 trillion worth of undiscovered gold. From the Dakotas to Georgia and Montana to California, modern miners don't need heavy equipment or expensive investments. They just need to know where and how to look -- especially because recent storms and floods have uncovered fresh deposits across the United States, while gold is at its highest price ever. In the series opener, "Rivers of Easy Gold," new gold has been uncovered in California due to heavy storms and flooding in recent years. From picking nuggets out of rivers, to metal detecting rare gold worth millions, Dave Turin shows where everyday miners can find it.
