Plot Synopsis

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is a talent reality series that crosses the US looking for America's most talented performers. The competition is open to acts of all ages and to all types of performers, including singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists. After the nationwide audition rounds, the top acts are brought to the studio where they perform in front of a live audience, allowing the viewers to vote and determine which acts go home. The performer with most votes in the final round wins $1 million. In Season 1, 11-year-old singer Bianca Ryan (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) won, and within 15 months she released a self-titled CD that opened at #57 on the Billboard 200. Ventriloquist Terry Fator (Dallas, Texas) won Season 2 and signed a deal to headline the Las Vegas Hilton. Insurance salesman/opera singer Neal E. Boyd (Sikeston, Missouri) won the third season. In 2009, an unemployed farmer and longtime musician, Kevin Skinner (Mayfield, Kentucky), prevailed in Season 4, winning one million dollars and headlined the "America's Got Talent" show at the Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort in Las Vegas. Singer/songwriter Michael Grimm and crooner Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. won Seasons 5 and 6, respectively, both headlining Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Olate Dogs, the father-son dog training team of Richard and Nicolas Olate and their canines, won the title in Season 7, along with $1 million and headliner status at "America's Got Talent" show at the Palazzo in Las Vegas in Fall 2012.
