Plot Synopsis
AMERICA'S WORST TATTOOS follows people with tattoos-gone-wrong who seek out tattoo artists to cover them up. Whether it's Amber's cookie-moon-monster tramp stamp that doesn't look like either object, David's tummy design with a yellow Post-it note that says "Put Food in Me" just above his belly button, or even Ryan's misspelled ink, "Art is Literaey of the Heart," these well-respected tattoo artists fix their terrible tattoos and transform their clients by making them feel better about themselves. As Megan Massacre, one of the experts, always says, "Good tattoos hurt for a short while, but bad tattoos hurt forever." On Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10pm, TLC aired two back-to-back episodes as a two-part special.

AMERICA'S WORST TATTOOS returned for its second season on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:30pm ET/PT on TLC. In the Season 2 premiere episode, Jeremy tackles the misplaced anger of the youth of his client, Anastasia. Meanwhile, Megan is forced out of her comfort zone when Rick, her client, requests a biomechanical panel. Later in Season 2, Megan transforms a Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura portrait, while Tim attempts a leg cover-up with a romantic dinner landscape. Plus, Jeremy's client wants to change a tattoo that represents her wilder past, and the new ink creation leaves her in tears of joy. Then, in another episode, Megan gets to work on a pink elephant, and Jeremy converts a frog into an artistic hour glass. Finally, Tim's customer receives a life-changing tattoo makeover in the form of a gorgeous perfume bottle. And then later, Megan even gets in the hot seat for her own ink blunder -- a seven-year old tattoo done by an apprentice that desperately needs a cover-up.
