Plot Synopsis

ANDOR, a prequel to the STAR WARS spinoff film ROGUE ONE, is a one-hour drama series that focuses on Cassian Andor's journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It's an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero. ANDOR premiered on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 on Disney+, as the streaming service released the first three episodes. A new episode debuted each Wednesday through November 23.

Early morning on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Disney+ released "Rix Road," the season finale of ANDOR. Cassian returns to Ferrix for Maarva's funeral and learns of Bix's imprisonment from Brasso. Meero and the local Imperial garrison prepare to use the funeral to take in Andor alive for questioning regarding Luthen. Later the same day from 9-10:30pm, ANDOR made its linear television debut on ABC, as the network aired the program as a two-episode event.

Filming for ANDOR's second season began two days earlier -- on Monday, November 21.
