Season 2 Season 4
Plot Synopsis
ANNEDROIDS is a half-hour, science-based, action-adventure series that follows 11-year old genius and kid-scientist Anne, who has invented and built her own amazing androids. Anne loves nothing more than doing cool experiments and building her own mechanical companions -- Eyes, Hands, and part pigeon/part rocket Pigsley -- which are thinking, feeling creations with curious, endearing personalities. Despite her best efforts to keep her junkyard laboratory a secret from the world, Nick discovers her domain and enlists the help of Shania, his slightly eccentric neighbor, to befriend Anne and her mechanical companions. Together they help solve Anne's scientific problems through real-life solutions, and, thanks to their insatiable curiosity, Anne's experiments always lead to unforeseen complications, hijinks, and misadventures. Fifteen months before the official series premiere, Amazon released the pilot episode of ANNEDROIDS on April 19, 2013. On the day of the show's official series premiere on Friday, July 25, 2014, Amazon released seven episodes. On Thursday, October 30, 2014, Amazon released six more episodes of ANNEDROIDS. In "Pal in the Middle," the first episode of the new batch, Shania is stuck at home taking care of her little brother, while Anne and Nick build a rainbow maker with a prism. Unfortunately, while Anne and Nick are busy, the prism accidentally sails over the junkyard fence when Hand and Eyes are playing monkey in the middle. Amazon released a second season of ANNEDROIDS on Thursday, July 2, 2015, with 13 new episodes available on the first day. In the Season 2 opener, "Message in a Rocket," Anne, Nick and Shania test a rocket messenger system so that they can stay in touch during the school day. They quickly realize that they need something smarter than a rocket to be able to carry messages. The entire 13-episode third season of ANNEDROIDS was released by Amazon on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. The third season of Annedroids brings back Anne, and her friends Nick and Shania, as the trio embarks on more adventures and experiments with their android friend, Pal, who's more interested than ever to become a real kid. This season finds Nick banned from the junkyard by his mom, Anne upgrading junkyard security, and Shania trying her best to help things return to normal. New friends and familiar faces join them this season, including Zack, who helps Anne build a new dogdroid named Fangs, and Charlie, who mistakes Pal for a real kid and takes Pal to the mall.
