Plot Synopsis

Based on the popular YouTube web series of the same name, THE ANNOYING ORANGE is an animated program that follows Orange, his buddies -- Pear, Passion Fruit, Apple, Marshmallow -- and nemesis Grapefruit, as they go on a wide range of adventures that take them from the fruit stand to parts unknown and everything in between. Nerville, a mad scientist and night-shift maintenance manager at Daneboe's market, is the only human who can interact with the fruit. Cartoon Network aired a sneak-peek episode of this series on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 8:30pm ET, with the official series premiere two weeks later. Nearly one year later on May 16, 2013 at 7:30pm ET, ANNOYING ORANGE returned for its second season, with an episode featuring Orange convincing Midget Apple to flaunt his cuteness at the Little Foodie Cutie pageant. Season 2 featured these guest voices: Dave Grohl, Kylie Minogue, Kellan Lutz, Olivia Munn, Rainn Wilson, Al Yankovic, Gilbert Gottfried, David Cross, Jack McBrayer, Carl Edwards, Maria Menounos and Kendall Jenner.
