Plot Synopsis

This 15-minute, animated, dark comedy follows the misadventures of three, talking, human-sized, fast-food items -- Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad -- and their next-door neighbor Carl. The crew originally lived in New Jersey, but moved to Seattle, Washington in Season 8. Starting with Season 8, the program aired with a new title each season: AQUA UNIT PATROL SQUAD 1 (Season 8); AQUA SOMETHING YOU KNOW WHATEVER (Season 9); AQUA TV SHOW SHOW (Season 10); AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE FOREVER (Season 11). AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE FOREVER, the final season of this series, premiered on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim. In this latest installment of the adventures of Meatwad, Master Shake, Frylock and Carl, a court ruling has made divorce illegal in America. Heavily-armed, unhappy couples across the continent are tearing each other apart, and it's up to Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever to give them the marriage counseling they need. Getting completely nude and replacing their bodies with shape-shifting liquid metal, the Aqua Teens travel through time to try and mend frayed marriages. Along the way, they must follow a recipe and prepare an unfamiliar dish, with a cast of celebrity chefs judging their every move.

On Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Midnight, Adult Swim premiered the series finale of AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE. In the special half-hour series ender, "The Last One Forever and Ever (For Real This Time) (We F-ing Mean It)," the Aqua Teen Hunger Force takes a bow.

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, HBO MAX released "Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm," a 2022 direct-to-video special that features everyone's favorite rascals, the Aqua Teens: the brainy Frylock, the mouthy Master Shake, the lovable Meatwad, and everyone's favorite perverted neighbor, Carl, as they fight corporate overlord, Amazin.

Two weeks earlier -- on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 -- Adult Swim announced it has ordered a 12th season of AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE from original creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro.

"We are thrilled to be making more AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE episodes for a new generation of fans, building upon the most impressive collection of IP ever assembled. Success is optimal and leads to quality," said Maiellaro and Willis simultaneously, almost as if they were programmed by ChatGPT.
