Plot Synopsis

Inspired by Chelsea Handler's memoir, this multi-camera sitcom centers on Chelsea's life as a single, 20-something, alcohol-loving, oversexed cocktail waitress and her life with her friends, roommates, co-workers and family. Her roommates are Olivia, her best friend since childhood who also works at the bar, and Dee Dee, a sweet and somewhat sheltered young woman. At the bar, Chelsea works with fellow cocktail waitress Olivia, handsome bartender Rick, and barback Todd, who who is always ready with a quick comeback. And she must also deal with her born-again Christian, conservative sister, Sloane, and her father, Melvin, who has a big personality, a big heart and a big mouth.
