Plot Synopsis

Art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon surveys the history of Russian art -- from folk art and antique art, through the artistic revolution of Peter the Great and the high Baroque period in St. Petersburg, and to the recent period after the Revolution of 1917 and the Putin years. Ovation aired the U.S. premiere of this series on three consecutive nights at 9pm, starting on Monday, April 4, 2011.
