Plot Synopsis

This three-part series provides a 360-degree look into the skill and bravery that men and women exhibit every day to uphold the freedom of the seas as the U.S. Navy combats piracy, drug smuggling and international terrorism. Each hour-long episode focuses on some of the new responsibilities of the U.S. Navy, as well as new technologies and training necessary to achieve success on the high seas. Not only does the series explore different units of the U.S. Navy -- including the aviation, surface and submarine forces -- it also takes viewers on a journey through the leadership and management of the U.S. Navy on a global scale.
