Plot Synopsis

In honor of Sir David Attenborough's 60th anniversary on television, this three-part series focuses on three fields that Attenborough felt have been transformed most profoundly: filmmaking, science and the environment. PBS aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 8pm ET, showing the program on three consecutive Wednesdays as episodes of its NATURE series.
