Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews, real user-generated video, and dramatic re-enactments, AUSTRALIA'S DEADLIEST chronicles real-life survival stories from Down Under. where humans had deadly animal encounters with everything from jellyfish and sharks to crocodiles and snakes. Each 30-minute episode features three stories, including: a surfer attacked by a 10-foot Great White shark; a swimmer, who jumped off a bridge into the water, who has a saltwater crocodile racing toward him; a woman stalked by a kangaroo in her back garden, when suddenly the animal bounds straight toward her; a swimmer stung by a deadly box jellyfish, who suffers so much pain that his heart stops beating -- twice; a backpacker chased by a pack of dingoes; a gardener bitten by a venomous spider, causing him to suffer slow paralysis only hours later; a grandmother who wakes to an 8-foot crocodile dragging her son's friend from his tent; a bicyclist swooped by an Australian magpie, pecking at her eye until it pops; a woman who was bitten by one little mosquito, resulting in Australia's Ross River Fever; a fisherman venturing through the buhe feelsh, who falls onto a redback spider's nest and is paralyzed within minutes; a family sailing in a playground for crocodiles; a swimmer bitten by the highly venomous stonefish and whose rescue boat gets stuck; and many more stories involving dangerous animals.
