Plot Synopsis

Pregnant women at the Indiana Women's Prison strive for a spot in the prison's "baby dorm," where inmates can keep their babies with them while they serve their sentences. Some women see this innovative program as an opportunity to focus on being a mother and redeeming themselves, while others hope their babies brings them closer to their lives before prison. Firecracker Films originally developed this program for WEtv, but, when it was no longer a good fit for the network, the production house was able to license the show to TLC instead.
