Plot Synopsis

When struggling comedian and barman Donny shows one act of kindness to a vulnerable woman, Martha, it sparks a suffocating obsession which threatens to wreck both their lives. The story opens with Donny working at the pub, where he meets Martha, who claims to be a lawyer. He offers her a cup of tea on the house, and she's instantly obsessed. Trying to be kind, he gives Martha false hope, which only encourages her further. Donny takes some time off from the pub and tries to make amends with his girlfriend, Teri. But no matter how much he avoids Martha, he can't escape her for long -- and he reports her to the police. Based on the real-life-inspired play of the same name by series star Richard Gadd, BABY REINDEER debuted on Thursday, April 11, 2024 on Netflix, which released all seven episodes.
