Plot Synopsis

BACK OF THE SHOP is a half-hour talk show, where guest athletes and celebrities sit in the barber's chair manned by Jose Moises 'Jordan' Lopez, owner of Jordan Sport Barbershop, and engage in unfiltered dialogue about sports, life and anything else. Jordan, the official team barber of both the New York Yankees and Mets, has made the rounds at Spring Training throughout the Grapefruit and Cactus Leagues, and has been the go-to barber for MLB players, as well as other athletes, when they come to New York City. Now, in each 30-minute episode of this series, four guests stop by for a shave or haircut and conversation. Guests include: Red Sox slugger David Ortiz; Yankees outfielder Alfonso Soriano; New York Knicks point guard Iman Shumpert; NBA Legend Larry Johnson; rapper Snoop Dogg; Seattle Mariners star and former Yankee Robinson Cano; New York Knicks All-Star Amar'e Stoudemire; Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant; MLB legend Gary Sheffield; and many more athletes and stars.
