Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode of BACK ON THE RECORD WITH BOB COSTAS, host Bob Costas welcomes guests for one-on-one interviews and roundtable discussions that address the most pressing issues impacting the sports world. Bomani Jones joins guests for the roundtable and provides on-camera commentaries. In the series opener, Costas has one-on-one chats with future Hall of Famer and basketball broadcaster, Charles Barkley; and Olympic gold medalist, Aly Reisman. Joining Jones for the roundtable discussions are former Major League Baseball pitcher and commentator, David Cone; and former WNBA player, podcast host, vice president and part owner of the Atlanta Dream legends, Renee Montgomery.

BACK ON THE RECORD WITH BOB COSTAS returned for its second season on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11pm ET/PT on HBO. The season opener features interviews with decorated Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and broadcasting legend Al Michaels. Former NFL cornerback and television/radio personality Domonique Foxworth and author/columnist Howard Bryant joins contributor Bomani Jones for the in-studio roundtable discussion.
