Plot Synopsis

BAD SISTERS is a dark comedy series centered on the tight-knit Garvey sisters, who have always looked out for each other. When their brother-in-law John Paul winds up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent and set their sights on the sisters -- all of whom had ample reason to kill him. But the Garvey sisters are bound together by the premature death of their parents -- and a promise to always protect one another. The first two episodes of BAD SISTERS dropped on Friday, August 19, 2022 on Apple TV+, with a new episode debuting each Friday through October 14.

The second season of BAD SISTERS debuted on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 on Apple TV+, which released the first two episodes. A new installment dropped weekly on Wednesdays through December 18, followed the season finale on Tuesday, December 24. Season 2 picks up two years after the "accidental death" of Grace's abusive husband. The close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust. As Detectives Loftus and Houlihan investigate, Grace's behavior becomes increasingly erratic.
