Plot Synopsis

The Dark Knight makes his return to television in this CG-animated series, with Batman being joined by the sword-wielding Katana, who has a connection to Alfred. Plus, Alfred is a more physical version than in the past, because he's a former agent of MI-6 whose life mission is to protect Bruce Wayne. In addition, Batman battles villains who aren't as mainstream, leaving Joker, the Penguin, the Riddler, and others like them on the sidelines to focus more on big bads like Professor Pyg, Mr. Toad, Anarky, Magpie, Humpty Dumpty, and more. Finally, BEWARE THE BATMAN highlights Batman's abilities as a detective, de-emphasizing gadgets and showing how "he's solving crimes in order to keep himself from going insane," according to producers.
