Plot Synopsis

BEAT THE HOUSE is a half-hour series that follows two real-estate agents, JoJo Jones and Chris Kromer, as they compete to find the best house at the best price to sway potential home buyers who thought they had already found their dream home. Each home-buying couple has their own reasons for moving, and they've found the house they want to buy. Now, Jojo and Christopher search for for-sale homes that surpass the couple's wish list, offering the couple a better deal for their money and making them second-guess their decision. In each 30-minute episode, Jojo and Christopher help a different couple, including: Mary Ann and Rob Lombardo, who are itching to move out of her parents' place but want to say in the same town of Hillsborough, NJ; Kara and David Oliver, who are ready to move out of their cramped apartment in Hoboken, NJ and buy their first home in the suburbs; Kristen and Dan Panoiu, who are under the gun to buy a home in the Long Island-oceanside town of Massapequa before their son Hunter is born; Rick and Colleen, who have outgrown their Jersey City studio apartment now that they have a daughter, but are hesitant to move to the suburbs; Rahki and Parminder Argawal, who are ready to adopt a baby girl but need to move out of their two-bedroom apartment first to a house in Hillsborough, NJ; and many more couples who will be tempted to change their minds about which home to buy.
