Plot Synopsis

Based on the web series WHO...., BEAUTY AND THE BALLER is a half-hour sitcom about handsome pro basketball star John Castle, his beautiful precocious wife Deena, and what their life is like away from the spotlight with their family, friends and staff. Along the way, the Castles being put on a "spending diet" by their accountant so John doesn't wind up as the latest poster child of a rich-turned-broke pro athlete. Guest stars for Season 1 include: pop/soul singing legend Deniece Williams, Cindy Herron of the legedanry girl group EnVogue, THE PRICE IS RIGHT and MEET THE SMITHS star Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith, Tom Konkle, Juhahn Jones, and more. On Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10-11pm ET/PT, Centric debuted the series premiere, showing back-to-back new episodes.

On Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, Centric premiered "Havin' My Baby," the season finale of BEAUTY AND THE BALLER. When Deena learns she's pregnant, her mother-in-law invites herself to move in until the baby is born.
