Plot Synopsis

BELOW DECK is a reality series that follows the crewmembers living and working aboard "Honor" -- a 164-foot, privately owned mega yacht -- on which these yachties live, love and work together, while tending to the ever-changing needs of their wealthy and demanding clients. While each crew member brings a different level of experience, they all share a love for this lifestyle that enables them to travel to some of the most beautiful and exotic locales in the world. Each 60-minute episode features different charter guests -- from millionaires, to entertainers to hard-partying friends -- as they move onto the boat for an at-sea adventure. The crew includes: Aleks Taldykin, the 27-year-old First Officer, who began working on fishing boats when he was 12, got his first Captain's license at 19, and is now known as a "Captain to the Stars"; Adrienne Gang, the 29-year-old Chief Steward, who is a veteran of the yacht industry and also a professional Chef who cooks for celebrity entertainers while they are on tour; C.J. LeBeau, the 32-year-old Second Engineer, who likes to explore the nightlife while in port and tries hard not to get into too much trouble; Samantha Orme, a 25-year-old Steward, who got her start as a stew working charters for her parents on a yacht that her father built, by hand, over the course of 20 years; Ben Robinson, the 31-year-old Chef, who worked under Italian master chefs in Florence and gained an apprenticeship at three-Michelin-Star restaurant The Fat Duck; David Bradberry, a Deckhand, who served as a Marine Embassy Guard for three years, which afforded him the opportunity to see the world, being stationed in places like Japan, Liberia and Italy; Eddie Lucas, a 26-year-old Deckhand, who after surviving a car accident five years ago, has learned to live life to the fullest and to appreciate everything he has; and Kat Held, the 27-year-old Second Steward, who began a career in yachting after a summer of recreation sailing in her home town of Rhode Island. Bravo aired a 30-minute sneak-preview special on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11pm ET/PT, three weeks before official series premiered on Monday, July 1 at 10pm ET/PT.

BELOW DECK returned for a second season on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. Captain Lee Rosbach, Ben Robinson, Kat Held and Eddie Lucas return from last season along with new crew members Kate Chastain, brother and sister duo Kelley and Amy Johnson, Jennice Ontiveros, and Andrew Sturby. Plus, Captain Lee will be at the helm of a different yacht -- "Ohana," a 153-foot mega yacht -- during the charter season in the British Virgin Islands, where the crew quickly learns that providing unparalleled service to their wealthy and uncompromising charter guests is not all fun in the sun and they are only as strong as the weakest link. On Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 9:30pm ET/PT, Bravo premiered a 30-minute sneak peek of Season 2.

BELOW DECK returned for its third season on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, three weeks after kicking off the new voyage with a half-hour special on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 10:30pm ET/PT. Another summer brings another charter season full of champagne, caviar and tropic thunder. Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain (chief stew), Amy Johnson (second stew) and Eddie Lucas (bosun) return from last season, along with new crew members Don Abenante (second engineer/deckhand), Connie Arias (deckhand), Raquel 'Rocky' Dakota (third stew), Emile Kotze (deckhand) and Leon Walker (chef) to make life aboard an $11 million private, luxury yacht, an unforgettable experience for their guests. The crew quickly learns they must check their egos at the dock in order to provide first-class service to their wealthy and uncompromising charter guests. From elicit affairs, to crew member firings and technical failures on the yacht, the drama on the high seas becomes too much for some of them to handle. As tensions reach a boiling point between Kate and new chef Leon, Captain Lee calls on chef Ben Robinson for help.

Season 4 of BELOW DECK premiered on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. Returning crew members Captain Lee Rosbach, Ben Robinson (chef), Kate Chastain (chief stew) and Kelley Johnson (bosun) for hijinks on the high seas. Joining the crew this season are Trevor Walker (senior deckhand), Nico Scholly (deckhand), Lauren Burchell (deckhand), Emily Warburton-Adams (second stew) and Sierra Storm (third stew). In Season 4, Captain Lee is keeping a close eye on recently promoted Kelley who is eager for redemption this season, balancing his newly gained power as bosun while managing the morale and hard work of the exterior crew. Chef Ben, fresh from the Mediterranean, is eager to jump back into his personal and professional relationship with Kate, who is coming on charter in a new and surprising relationship. Eager and young to yachting, Sierra receives extra attention onboard, which puts her under close monitoring by Kate. When a surprising personal relationship surfaces among the crew, Kate can't help but question her friendship with Emily altogether. Meanwhile, Nico and Kelley approach the charter looking for a boatmance with the same stew. Trevor focuses less on love and more on fitting in with his new colleagues which doesn't go as planned. When Captain Lee hands out a plane ticket, the crew finds out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Season 5 of BELOW DECK premiered on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo, as fan favorites Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain (chief stew) and Nico Scholly (senior deckhand) team up again for another Caribbean charter aboard the 154' mega yacht "Valor," as they navigate the choppy waters of luxury yachting off the coast of St. Maarten. Joining the crew are Matthew Burns (chef), Brianna Adekeye (stew), Jennifer Howell (stew), Chris Brown (deckhand), Bruno Duarte (deckhand) and Baker Manning (deckhand). In Season 5, Captain Lee has his hands full with a greener-than-usual crew, but fortunately he can rely on trusted veterans Kate and Nico to help him manage the rough seas ahead. For Kate, the frustrating task of getting two new stews quickly up to speed puts her stress at an all-time high, which results in her engaging in some off-boat escapades with a handsome sailor. Nico's first challenge of being senior deckhand is balancing his new leadership role onboard while facing difficult circumstances with his family back home. When he realizes he has a history with new stew Brianna, crew dynamics become even more complicated as Chef Matt and deckhand Chris also begin vying for Brianna's affection. First-time deckhand Bruno and single mom-turned-stew Jen are living their dreams by working on a yacht, but the heavy workload from their bosses may turn it into a nightmare. When the extreme pressure on deck collides with a sudden emergency, Captain Lee is forced to "reconfigure" the team. With the crew reeling from his decision, the group struggles to navigate through the high-stakes drama. Will they be able to attend to all of the guests every want and need and get through another charter season, or will they crumble under the pressure? In the season opener, "The 1 Percenters," Captain Lee, Kate and Nico are joined by six new crew members as they embark on a new charter. Kate and Nico have their hands full as they are charged with training a few inexperienced crew members before the first charter of the season. Nico is dealing with a personal tragedy which is affecting him more than he's led on.

Season 6 of BELOW DECK premiered on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. Captain Lee and his most trusted chief stewardess, Kate Chastain, are back for another season of above-deck demands and below-deck drama. Joining the crew are Josiah Carter (steward), Caroline Bedol (stewardess), Adrian Martin (chef), Chandler Brooks (bosun), Ross Inia (deckhand), Ashton Pienaar (deckhand) and Rhylee Gerber (deckhand). This season, Captain Lee brings M/Y Seanna to the crystal clear waters and black sand beaches of Tahiti. To ensure smooth sailing this year, he hired his most trusted stew, Kate, along with a new crew who are all full of experience on the water. Kate is excited for a new adventure out of the Caribbean and a new team to manage. Her interior team consists of formally trained butler Josiah and former solo stew Caroline. Kate immediately bonds with Josiah, her first male stew, but when their friendship turns into an exclusive clique, Caroline is left out. Chef Adrien turns up the heat in the kitchen with his complex and creative four-course meals that immediately impress Kate, but when his diva reputation surfaces, he clashes with the interior and feels Kate's wrath. On deck, bosun Chandler has all the hard skills he needs from growing up in his yachting-captain father's footsteps. But despite his confidence, Chandler begins to crack under the pressure, and his deckhands Ross and Ashton poke holes in his managerial technique. Ross, a bosun on his last charter, steps up when the stress of the excruciating season gets to Chandler, while Rhylee, a green female deckhand but experienced Alaskan fishing boat captain, requires more guidance from Chandler than he anticipated. When there is a near-fatal accident involving a man overboard emergency, the crew is shaken to the core and must band together to finish out their intense charter season stronger than ever.

The seventh season of BELOW DECK premieres Monday, October 7, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. Returning this season: Captain Lee, Kate Chastain (Chief Stewardess), and Ashton Pienaar (Bosun). New crew members include: Kevin Dobson, Chef; Simone Mashile, Second Stew; Courtney Skippon, Third Stew; Brian de Saint Pern, Lead Deckhand; Tanner Sterback, Deckhand; and Abbi Murphy, Deckhand. This season, Captain Lee, Kate and Ashton reunite as a team and embark on an exciting new season in Thailand on mega yacht "Valor." After his brush with death last season and promotion to bosun, Ashton's work hard, play harder persona is at an all-time high. While his leadership on deck holds strong, Ashton struggles below deck to keep his emotions in check after the crew gets an unexpected surprise that rocks Ashton to his core. Chef Kevin's high standards and strict rules for the kitchen and service clash with Kate's stew style, leading to fiery confrontations in the galley. Kate tries to foster a productive work environment for her team, but when Simone feels favoritism to Courtney the stews go head-to-head. When Abbi is unable to adapt to the high demands of yachting, Brian and Tanner are forced to pick up the extra work. Brian, Ashton, Tanner, Simone, Courtney and Kate all find themselves in and out of love on the boat, resulting in love triangles and heartbreak. With one demanding charter group after another, the crew is tasked with entertaining playboys and party girls this season; but after a shocking departure, the teams must band together to welcome back a crew member from seasons past.

Season 8 of BELOW DECK premiered on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. Captain Lee returns with fan favorite Eddie Lucas (Bosun), and they're joined by new crew members: Francesca Rubi, Chief Stewardess; Rachel Hargrove, Chef; Elizabeth Frankini, Stewardess; Isabelle 'Izzy' Wouters, Stewardess; James Hough, Deckhand; and Shane Coopersmith, Deckhand. Captain Lee returns to one of his favorite places to sail, the Caribbean, but after a challenging time and the retirement of his chief Stewardess, Kate Chastain, he yearns for some familiarity and finds solace with his old friend Bosun Eddie Lucas. BELOW DECK veteran Eddie Lucas is back! In the past five years, he has done some serious growing up and is ready to show his crew what it takes to be a great Bosun. But yachting is not all fun and games -- will this veteran prove he is up for the challenge, or will he decide this is his final sail? Francesca Rubi is a perfectionist who runs a tight ship by raising the bar when it comes to service. When she discovers her Stews are not up to her "white gloves, no water marks" standards, she reaches a breaking point that sends waves throughout the interior. Rachel Hargrove is a seasoned five-star Michelin chef with over 14 years of yachting experience. She keeps her galley in order and takes no prisoners, so when things start cooking and it's not her duck confit, the crew becomes concerned about how quickly she can go from zero to a hundred. Elizabeth Frankini has four years of on-and-off freelancing in yachting. She believes in astrology and tries to stick to a namaste vibe, but when she mixes business with pleasure, she finds herself surrounded by bad energy that no amount of crystals can ward off. A certified yacht master, Isabelle 'Izzy' Wouters knows her way around the interior and exterior of a boat better than most, but sometimes her lack of confidence gets in the way. Izzy is a Stew but dreams of one day joining her fellow deckhands. Smart, charming, and always the life of the party, James Hough is a big flirt. His "work hard, play harder" attitude turns into more than he bargained for with some of the female crew. He is committed to doing the bare minimum of work necessary but is in for a rude awakening when he finds out his shipmates are not the party animals he was hoping for. A California surfer turned environmentalist, Shane Coopersmith is attempting to break into the world of yachting, but his lack of experience proves to be challenging for Eddie and may put the crew in a safety predicament.

BELOW DECK returned for its ninth season on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo. Set on the stunning waters of St. Kitts in the Caribbean, superyacht My Seanna welcomes back veterans Eddie Lucas, in his new role as first officer, alongside chef Rachel Hargrove who is ready to redeem herself after a memorable last charter season. A fresh crop of yachties include new chief stewardess Heather Chase, stews Jessica Albert and Fraser Olender and deckhands Jake Foulger, Rayna Lindsay and Wes O'Dell. When an unexpected delay leaves Captain Lee stranded on land, Captain Sean Meagher steps in to oversee the ship with a "hands-on" management style catching the crew off guard and yearning for the "Stud of the Sea's" swift return. Fresh off his promotion, Eddie's new role as first officer gets derailed when he quickly realizes he might have to pull double duty on deck if he wants his team to succeed. Chief stew Heather is eager to deliver her guests an unforgettable experience, but when one of her stews becomes severely unmotivated, she must hustle to pick up the slack and maintain her five-star service. In order to move forward, chef Rachel must tend to some unsavory leftover beef with Eddie from last season. As department "boat-mances" blossom, alliances form and bonds are broken, this crew proves the Caribbean seas are as choppy as they are clear.

On November 21, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT, Season 10 of BELOW DECK premieres on Bravo. Captain Lee Rosbach, Chef Rachel Hargrove and Chief Stew Fraser Olender return to the Caribbean and lead the way on motor yacht St. David. They're joined by new staff Bosun Ross McHarg, Stews Hayley De Sola Pinto and Alissa Humber, Deck/Stew Camille Lamb and Deckhands Tony Duarte, Katie Glaser and Ben Willoughby. Set on the luscious island of St. Lucia, with crystal-clear waters and dramatically tapered mountains, the Pitons are sure to excite even the most discerning guests. Aboard the largest motor yacht in BELOW DECK history, the crew are impressed by the luxurious, massive 197-ft vessel St. David, but quickly learn that with a bigger boat comes bigger problems. Joining Captain Lee is beloved crew member Fraser Olender, but this time as Chief Stew. Discovering the learning curve on this ship is steep, he questions whether he will rise to the challenge in his new role or sink in the deep waters of the Caribbean. Fraser must also navigate a major conflict between his stews as dynamic personalities arise in the interior department. Chef Rachel Hargrove reclaims the galley, cooking her most intricate and finest cuisine yet. As she raises the bar even higher for herself, the pressure begins to mount and she struggles to stay afloat. On deck, Bosun Ross McHarg works hard, but plays harder as his romances on the crew nights out get him into hot water and becomes salty with the ladies. While the three department heads try to keep their crew in line, the entire charter season is put in jeopardy when Captain Lee makes an unexpected decision that rocks the boat to its core, leading to the most shocking season yet.

The eleventh season of BELOW DECK premiered on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo, with Capt. Kerry Titheradge crossing over from BELOW DECK ADVENTURE to helm M/Y St. David for the new season. Additionally, Chief Stew Fraser Olender and lead deckhand Ben Willoughby return for the new season. New crew members include Chef Anthony Iracane, Bosun Jared Woodin, deckhands Marie "Sunny" Marquis and Kyle Stillie and stews Cat Baugh, Xandi Olivier and Barbie Pascual.

Capt. Kerry trades the Nordic Sea for crystal blue waters and stunning waterfalls as he leads his crew in the rich, historical island of Grenada. A disciplined and fair leader, Capt. Kerry has 30 years of experience working on boats and has spent almost two decades in yachting. As he steps on to St. David for the first time, Capt. Kerry relies on returning crew members Chief Stew Fraser Olender and Ben Willoughby to help the new staff find their way around the massive 197 ft. vessel.

In his second season as Chief Stew, Fraser vows to be a firmer leader by delegating more and not worrying himself with befriending his stews. However, his new leadership style may not be enough to wrangle the strong personalities in his department. On deck, Ben's firsthand experience with the ship causes a rift with his Bosun, Jared.

Meanwhile, Chef Anthony, a Miami restaurateur from France, hopes to breathe new life into the galley. But when a messy kitchen catches Capt. Kerry's eye during the first charter, the galley reaches a boiling point. Between budding boatmances, explosive nights out and department drama, it's not all smooth sailing in Grenada.
