Plot Synopsis

BEST PARKS EVER highlights the best of America's National Parks. Each 30-minute episode focuses on a different theme, including: "Best Parks for Jaw Dropping Scenery," which showcases the Grand Canyon and Glacier Park; "Best Parks for Creature Features," which features grizzly bears in Alaska's Katmai Park and sea lions of the Channel Islands; "Best Parks You've Never Heard Of," which reveals a 12,000-year-old tree, awesome lava fields, steaming craters, and surreal landscapes; "Best Freaks of Nature," which presents hoodoos in Bryce Canyon and bizarre cave pearls in Kings Canyon; "Best Parks for a Deep Freeze," which spotlights Olympic Park's one million acres of powdery scenic ski slopes and a glacier cave in Kenai Fjords National Park; and "Hottest Parks," which highlights the world's most active volcano and the famous Old Faithful. On Earth Day 2012, April 22nd, Travel Channel aired six back-to-back episodes of this series, starting at Noon ET.
