Plot Synopsis

BET HER LIVE is a half-hour docuseries that goes behind the curtain into the lives of pioneering Hip Hop artists, as the legendary Yo-Yo shines the spotlight on these women who share their stories through conversation and song. Each 30-minute episode of features a different artist, including Da Brat, MC Lyte, Lil' Mo, and 702. From Lil' Mo on the balancing act of having a career with five children to Da Brat sharing infertility challenges that ultimately led to her becoming a new mom, along with 702's story of surviving tragedy and MC Lyte pivoting to become the ultimate media mogul, the series also features performances of their classic hits.
