Plot Synopsis

A family on the brink of splitting up become the owners of a cutting-edge robot being sought by a corporation, homicide investigators and terrorists. Divorced dad and medical examiner Georgy Safronov fights to keep his kids, while the family hides Arisa, an advanced robot prototype, in their household. Cronos exec Victor Toropov had just acquired Arisa, and he searches for his bot not knowing it's in the Safronov household. Meanwhile, Detective Varlamov investigates a murder linked to anti-bot vigilantes. Safronov plans to return the lost bot until Arisa saves Sonya's life. Vic's powerful father-in-law Losev negotiates a deal hinging on Arisa's return. On Friday, August 16, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix aired the U.S. premiere of BETTER THAN US, releasing 16 episodes.
