Plot Synopsis

BETTY LA FEA: THE STORY CONTINUES tells the story of the iconic Beatriz Pinzon Solano (aka Ugly Betty)...20 years after the conclusion of the original series, YO SOY BETTY LA FEA. A death in Ecomoda forces Betty to reconnect with her former coworkers, as well as with Armando, whom she is still married to but separated. She also reunites with her daughter, Mila, who has been studying fashion in New York and returns with the desire to work in Hugo's workshop. Betty will have to rebuild her relationship with her daughter, while making important decisions that will impact her career, and decide whether to reconcile with Armando, who will do everything to win her back. Ana Maria Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello reprise their roles from YO SOY BETTY LA FEA. BETTY LA FEA: THE STORY CONTINUES debuted with two episodes on Friday, July 19, 2024 on Prime Video. Two new episodes dropped weekly on Fridays through August 16.

On Friday, August 16, 2024, Prime Video released two episodes to close out the first season of BETTY LA FEA: THE STORY CONTINUES:

"Blanked Out Cassette": Betty wakes up with no memory of the night before and is surprised that she is not at home. Mila discovers Nacho's true colors. Will he take the opportunity to confess his identity to everyone? Armando decides to visit his daughter and Betty, but he meets Hermes, who stops him in his tracks, requesting for explanations about what he read in Betty's old diary.

"Don't Blame It on the Beach": Mila reads Betty's diary and completely breaks down. Full of resentment towards her father, she demands him to sign the divorce papers. Will this mean the end of their relationship? Time later, Betty enjoys in Cartagena with a mysterious man... Who could it be?
