Plot Synopsis

BEYOND THE TANK is a one-hour companion series that reveals the drama that takes place after the entrepreneurs' appearance on SHARK TANK. What lies in the aftermath of their investment? Did a promising deal turn sour, or did it lead to millions of dollars in sales? The season premiere airs Friday, May 1, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC, running for three weeks through Friday, May 15. Each one-hour episode chronicles the stories of three different entrepreneurs. In the series premiere, Robert Herjavec rolls up his sleeves to help guide San Diego, CA entrepreneurs Evan Melsohn and Nick Morton, the Tipsy Elves business duo from Season 5. They find themselves at a crossroads when it comes to branding their clothing design company and if Nick should quit his job as a dentist and participate full time in the business. Sixteen-year old Carter Kostler from Virginia Beach, VA felt devastated when he did not get a deal for The Define Bottle, his fruit-infused water bottle, after appearing in a Season 5 episode. He shares how he turned his first venture at being an entrepreneur into a learning experience that will last him a lifetime. When former pro-football player Al "Bubba" Baker and his daughter, Brittani Bo Baker, pitched the Sharks in Season 5, Daymond John won the battle to invest $300,000 in their Deboned Baby Back Ribs business. But when Daymond goes to Avon, OH and discovers that production is not under control and orders aren't keeping up with the demand, the Shark wonders if he made the right business decision. BEYOND THE TANK returned for its second season on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on ABC, moving to its regular timeslot -- Thursdays at 10pm -- two days later on January 7. Season 2 was originally scheduled from September 29, 2015, airing Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT through October 20, 2015, but was delayed at the last minute. Companies features in Season 2 include: Grace and Lace, Bee Thinking & Scrub Daddy; Simple Sugars, Solomon Fallas, Pet Paint & Biaggi; The Paintbrush Cover, Lollacup & Liz Lovely.

On Friday, June 3, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, ABC premiered a new episode of BEYOND THE TANK. Robert Herjavec decided to invest in Ashley Drake, an army captain from Louisville, Kentucky, and The Natural Grip, her line of custom-made handgrips, due to the passion and drive she displayed during her Season 6 pitch. However, when Ashley meets with Robert, she shows another side of herself that Robert fears could hurt the company's future.

Daymond John is excited about the growing success of Patrick Whaley's weighted compression-gear company, Titin, which he invested in after his Season 6 appearance. Daymond is determined to convince Patrick to move his company from its home base in Atlanta, Georgia, to Manhattan, New York, but Patrick is worried that the move could weaken his relationship with his coworkers.

While sales for 13-year-old Andrea Cao's massage product, Q-Flex, have increased since Barbara Corcoran and Mark Cuban invested in the company during Season 6, Q-Flex is still working out of Andrea's garage in San Luis Obispo, California. Hopefully, a visit from Barbara will help Andrea craft a plan to support Q-Flex's growth.
