Plot Synopsis

Hosted by James Monroe Iglehart, BIGGEST LITTLE CHRISTMAS SHOWDOWN features the nation's best miniaturists as they face-off to create the merriest mini holiday houses, complete with all the festive, tiny trimmings. In each of the first three episodes (preliminary rounds), three different teams of the country's top designers and renovators use their imaginations to build incredible miniatures, but only one team can wow the panel of judges -- including designer Genevieve Gorder and miniatures experts June Clinkscales and Dave Asling -- to advance to the finals. In the fourth episode (and final round), the winners of the three preliminary rounds return to craft their most extravagant mini holiday houses ever for a chance at the ultimate victory: a grand prize worth $50,000 and the surprise of a lifetime when their winning miniature is super-sized into a magical vacation home decked out for the season.

On Friday, December 18, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered "Miniature Dream Vacation Home," the season finale of BIGGEST LITTLE CHRISTMAS SHOWDOWN. The final three teams are challenged to create their ultimate dream Christmas vacation cabins. In the end, only one team will win the $50,000 grand prize and get their creation supersized into a dream home!
