Plot Synopsis

Medical student Mia enters a top German university on a secret mission to uncover a conspiracy linking a family tragedy to a visionary biology professor. After meeting her unconventional roommates, Mia attends her first class with Dr. Lorenz and cozies up to the professor's research assistant, Jasper. Then, Mia tries to wheedle her way into a job at Dr. Lorenz's biomedical institute, but she runs into a problem when she's asked to participate in a genetic study. Soon after, Mia's night out with Jasper leads to Dr. Lorenz's private residence, where a medical emergency complicates her plans to access the professor's computer. Netflix released the six-episode first season of BIOHACKERS on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.
