Plot Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of 1950s San Francisco -- a period of unmistakable social change -- THE BLETCHLEY CIRCLE: SAN FRANCISCO is a one-hour drama series that finds two of the original BLETCHLEY CIRCLE lead characters, Millie and Jean, 14 years after the war as they leave London for America and join forces with two U.S. codebreakers to tackle a string of new murder cases. Dismissed by local law enforcement, these four remarkably gifted and intelligent women find themselves plunged into the heart of the Bay Area as they investigate crimes, forge relationships, and unlock their own power and potential. The heroines of this series -- inspired by the series, THE BLETCHLEY CIRCLE -- seek justice for forgotten victims as they carve out new lives for themselves. THE BLETCHLEY CIRCLE: SAN FRANCISCO, BritBox's very first original series, premieres in the United Sates on Thursday, July 26, 2018 on BritBox -- one day after the show's world premiere on ITV -- with new episodes debuting each Wednesday for the following eight weeks. Later that Thursday, BritBox hosted a Facebook Live at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT with the four stars of the series.
