Plot Synopsis

Directed by Colombian filmmaker Juan Sebastian Mesa, BLUE LIZARD EFFECTS is a half-hour docuseries that follows Jason Silva as he discovers that happiness is fundamentally tied to nature and community on the island of Aruba. Through each of the four episodes, Silva explores the island through its four natural elements: water, fire, air and land. Silva is accompanied by 12 local Arubans as they guide him through the island, confronting his deepest fears while leaning into Aruba's nature, culture, flavors and traditions.
